Here is a little background information:

I am a native of Southern Illinois but have also lived in other areas of the country including California, Florida and Texas. I returned to the area in 1987, and in 1990, married my high school sweetheart several years after graduation.

My husband Brian, has been very supportive, and we have come to appreciate living in the Southern Illinois area with other family members close at hand. Brian is co-manager of Square Deal Clothing House in Murphysboro where he has worked for over 20 years. He is also a drummer in a local blues band.

My father and mother are Rev. Byron and Sue York of Murphysboro. I have a brother Paul who lives with his wife and two darling daughters and son in St.Charles, Missouri. My sister Gail and her husband live in Atlanta, Georgia and have two daughters: one daughter is currently a Registered Dietitian in Atlanta, (and Aunt Cindy is very proud). Mindy and her sweet husband John and now have a handsome son Wyatt. My sister's other daughter is our little sweetheart Kelli. Norman York was married to my grandmother Jessie York for over 70 years before grandma passed away in November of 2000 and Grandpa passed in 2002. We miss them both very much. Grandpa was able to enjoy the birth of his fifth great grandchild (and first boy) in 2001. Brian's mom Martha recently passed away in November of 2003. We miss her wonderful sense of humor and she is very dearly missed. Brian's dad "Cam" also passed away recently. Cam is remembered for always wanting to help. They are our heros. Our Aunt Thelma in Colorado recently passed away also. Uncle Ed and the whole family miss her muchly. The past few years have been a little difficult but we have become a pretty close family.

Hobbies include: webdesign and maintenance, internet publishing, watercolor painting and accustic guitar.
